Executive Team
Remko van der Voordt
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. van der Voordt has over 30 years of rehabilitative healthcare experience as a Physical Therapist and manager. He has held various operating roles from Director of Rehab to National Director of Rehabilitation Services for numerous companies with a national footprint. Remko held the executive level position of Regional Vice-President for the North-East United States for a national therapy company for 5 years, until founding The Rehab Department, LLC.
Mr. van der Voordt is known for his acumen in strategic planning, new business development, cost controls and effectively navigating the ever changing regulatory environment. He has an ongoing drive to provide the best patient care, every time, by leading, educating and motivating clinical staff to realize optimal clinical outcomes and help our residents achieve their goals.
As the CEO of The Rehab Department Remko is responsible for all day-to-day operations and management and tasked with providing the strategic vision to ensure continued future success.
Christine Champion
Director of Human Resources
As the Director of Human Resources, Chris is responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources department. She has over 20 years of Office Management/Human Resources experience in Long Term Care Administration settings, specifically in employee relations, payroll and billing. Prior to joining The Rehab Department, she has held various positions with national healthcare companies while working at the Corporate level. Chris has a passion for employee engagement and motivation with the ultimate goal of creating a positive employee experience and a productive work environment, thereby ensuring that the Rehab Department is able to provide excellent customer service and an exceptional patient experience.
Kelley Mouch, SLP-CCC
Regional Director of Operations (SW)
Kelley is a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. After graduation, she began her year career in long term care as a staff speech therapist. She advanced to Director of Rehabilitation in 2005, where she assumed not only management duties, but broadened her knowledge of Louisiana state regulations, PPS management, survey readiness, leadership training, and emergency preparedness. Kelley joined the staff of The Rehab Department in October 2015, and was promoted to Regional Director of Operations shortly thereafter. She currently manages facilities in the South-West US.
